Welcome!

I'm a 6th year PhD candidate in Mathematics at UC Santa Barbara. I received my Mathematics B.S. from UC Davis in 2014 and my Mathematics M.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. I am currently on the job market.

My advisor is Stephen Bigelow. My research interests are broadly in quantum algebra, operator algebras, and low-dimensional topology. My thesis is on subfactor planar algebras, which is a subject with connections to a variety of mathematics including tensor categories, knot theory, subfactors, mathematical physics, and representation theory.
